  In my view, this is the best veterinary hospital in Saint John. I bring all three of my fur-babies there for optimal care. Dr. Gehrig explains everything and shows a type of genuine compassion not truly seen in any other animal hospital in Saint John. The fees are more than fair for the services provided. They will not push for unnecessary treatments to line their pockets. Full service with compassion to the pet parent as well. So glad I found them.

  Recently my cats had contracted worms from eating their flees when the revolution had worn out.They gave me Brevecto ( which hasn't even been on the market for a year. ) I have four cats so it was a bit pricey, but they assured me this would solve the problem.

  This is the best veterinarian hospital I have ever been to! The staff are all extremely knowledgeable, kind and honest. I had wasted so much money at other vets trying to diagnose an eye issue and within our first visit at Kannon, they had identified the issue. Their prices are beyond reasonable and they do not try to "push" you to buy unnecessary stuff! If you have the opportunity to get in with this animal hospital, I highly recommend it!

  The first time they told us that we would only need to buy the flee medication and it would eventually clean up the worms.The second time they told us that we needed to wait a set amount of time after treating them once to give them the worm medication.The third time they told us that they needed several treatments before the worm medication should even of been administrated..

  The first time that I had a problem was after I took my cat in to be spayed, she ended up with an infection. (no this was not the vets fault) but when I asked for a cone I was treated like an idiot because it wasn't something they had advised..

  I am new to the area and have been taking my kitten here since I have gotten him. The staff are patient and knowledge and always in a pleasant mood. The veterinarian we typically see is young and passionate about his work. I have never felt rushed or left confused. The prices here are comparable to the others, but is the people that make all the difference.

  Now after about $253 on flee medication and about $40 on worm medication they told me that I would just have to retreat and that there must of been some miscommunication..

  this is not how you run a business.. Transferred my records over yesterday and took my cat over today.. will never be returning to kannon again.
