  This place was so cute!! There aren't very many independent restaurants in East Saint John and the location of this diner is perfect. Right between Uptown and the commercial east side. It may not be super eye catching on the outside yet but the inside is really modern, rustic, and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable and the food was great. You can tell it's homemade but but not too old-fashioned. Not everything is deep fried so you can still get a hearty lunch or breakfast but not feel like you ate typical greasy-spoon diner food. So happy to have a little spot like this near my house! :)

  I had the 3 piece fish and chips and fish cake on the side. I'll say to all the newfies they do it right here. Service was friendly, everything prepared fresh and just as good as anything on the island. Excellent value. Will definitely be back next time I don't want to cook it myself.

  Awesome fish and chips! 2 huge pieces of fresh fish made with homemade batter made in front of you with fresh cut fries. Doesn't get any better than that!

  Excellent home cooked style meals served with a smile. You can also eat SFL here if you wish. I know I had an amazing salad there.

  Great hidden jem within the city! My buddy and I got there right at closing by mistake and they told us to come on in and served us up fresh fish and chips as they were shutting down. This does not happen these days and the fish was great. We returned again the next week and tried the crab cakes which were amazing. It is a my good to spot for fish and chips whenever I travel to Saint John.
