  Taco Pica is an okay place. The food is okay the service was okay and the atmosphere was okay. When I went there was live music scheduled, so I waited around. The performer who came on did not suit the restaurant by any state. It was a lady who played guitar and sang sad songs. It really put a damper on the night.

  I wanted to really love this place. My first experience here was great, I enjoyed the food. The service was good - a little slow. But I was prepared to put this restaurant on my list of likes for the Saint John region. However, we called for take out one evening and they wouldn’t take our order because they were “too busy”. That’s a little ridiculous. Had we come to the restaurant and waited to be seated, they would have taken our order and we would have eaten. But they wouldn’t do a take out order for us. Turning away paying customers.... I will not go back. I will not recommend.

  Taco Pics, is one of my favourite places, when you enter it's like you're stepping into a sunny warm destination! They make the best mojitos and their authentic dishes are amazing like their seafood in green sauce or paella!

  The ambience is quite decent, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the food, and the seating is intimate. I went with four other friends for a dinner on a weekday and my only real gripe was that it was rather lonely in there. We went around 7-8PM. Some other places nearby were apparently more popular at that time. The food was what I would call efficient Mexican -- decent but unremarkable. I would like to see them serving complimentary fresh chips and salsa though. And if they do, I will upgrade my review to five stars, strictly within the context of latin American options in Saint John.
